OUR BELIEFS

At Fire of Revival Church, we are a Spirit-filled community built on biblical truth, passionate worship, and a deep hunger for God’s presence. Our foundation is the Word of God, and we believe in the power of the Holy Spirit to transform lives, heal the broken, and equip believers for Kingdom impact.

The Holy Scriptures

We affirm that the Bible, comprising the Old and New Testaments, is fully inspired by God, infallible, and serves as the supreme authority in matters of faith and conduct.

2 Timothy 3:16-17: "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."

The Trinity

We believe in one eternal God, existing as three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each person shares the same divine essence and attributes, deserving equal worship and honor.

Matthew 28:19: "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."

God the Father

We acknowledge God the Father as the Creator of all things, both visible and invisible, who, in His love, sent His Son for the redemption of humanity.

Genesis 1:1: "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth."

Jesus Christ

We profess Jesus Christ as both fully God and fully man. Born of a virgin, He led a sinless life, performed miracles, died sacrificially for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and will return in power and glory.

John 1:14: "The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth."

The Holy Spirit

We recognize the Holy Spirit as God, dwelling within believers to produce spiritual fruit and empower them for service and witness. Through the baptism in the Holy Spirit, believers may receive spiritual gifts, including speaking in tongues.

Acts 1:8: "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

Salvation

We believe that humanity's sinfulness results in separation from God. Redemption is found solely through Jesus Christ's sacrificial death and resurrection. Salvation is a gift received by grace through faith, not by human efforts.

Ephesians 2:8-9 : "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast."

Water Baptism

We practice water baptism by full immersion for those who have repented and professed faith in Jesus Christ. This act symbolizes the believer's death to sin and resurrection to new life in Christ.

Romans 6:4: "We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life."

Sanctification

We uphold sanctification as an ongoing process, wherein believers yield to God's Word and Spirit to mature and develop Christ's character. This journey enables Christians to live holy lives.

2 Corinthians 3:18: "And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into His image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit."

The Church

We view the Church as the universal body of believers, empowered to fulfill the Great Commission by spreading the Gospel and manifesting God's Kingdom. Participation in a local church community is essential for fellowship, service, accountability, and spiritual growth.

Ephesians 1:22-23: "And God placed all things under His feet and appointed Him to be head over everything for the church, which is His body..."
